Maara is dedicated to providing personalized care in supporting clients to restore health and maintain wellbeing. She has been in practice since 2008 and holds a Licentiate in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation Ireland. Her post-graduate clinical internship was completed at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital & Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, China.

Maara has experience in treating a wide range of health concerns including anxiety, emotional issues, acute and chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, post-concussion syndrome, neurological conditions, migraine, digestive issues and women’s health.

She is a professional member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association (AFPA) which ensures high standards of treatment and strict codes of ethics and safe practice.

TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE

As a trauma-informed practitioner, Maara aims to be compassionate and aware of clients’ experiences and how trauma can profoundly impact their lives. The effects of trauma can often result in a dysregulated nervous system, which can manifest as stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, headaches, fatigue, inflammation and body pain. Acupuncture and Craniosacral Therapy are effective ways to regulate the nervous system and help people move toward feeling more connected and deeply supported in their lives.
