Maara Mulgrew is a graduate of the Acupuncture Foundation Ireland and has been in practice since 2009. She holds a Licentiate in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture with post-graduate clinical training completed at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital & Nanjing University of TCM, China. She is a registered member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association (AFPA) which ensures high standards of treatment and strict codes of ethics and safe practice. In addition to acupuncture, she is also a certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist.

Maara provides an individualised holistic treatment approach, helping clients to restore natural balance and maintain wellbeing. She treats a broad spectrum of health concerns with her clinical focus including anxiety and stress reduction, musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, post-concussion syndrome, migraine, sinusitis, TMJ pain, digestive issues and women’s health. She also specializes in cosmetic acupuncture, supporting natural facial rejuvenation and skin health.

As a trauma-informed practitioner, Maara aims to be aware of how the effects of trauma can often manifest as stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, headaches, digestive issues, fatigue, inflammation and body pain. Acupuncture and Craniosacral Therapy are effective ways to regulate the nervous system and help people move toward feeling more supported in their lives.
