COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE
Maara has advanced training and certification in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture System with Dr. Martha Lucas. Cosmetic acupuncture is a natural and effective approach to rejuvenate your skin’s vitality and reduce the visible signs of ageing. It is a safe alternative to botox, surgery, chemical peels and injections without the harmful side effects. Cosmetic acupuncture naturally smoothes and tightens the skin by stimulating collagen production and elastin proteins. Ultra-thin needles improve blood flow, lymphatic drainage and skin cell micro-circulation helping to relax tension in the face, improve muscle tone, lift sagging, decrease fine lines and wrinkles.
Treatments are based on a traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and can also help to improve anxiety, sleep, digestive issues and whole body balance. Facial treatments address the forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth and jowl area. The neck protocol can be included to additionally focus on sagging around the jawline, neck and décolletage. Treatments include an organic facial cleanse and jade roller massage.
Cosmetic acupuncture has a cumulative effect and treatments are best applied in a series of 8-10 individual sessions at a frequency of 1-2 times per week.
